Supporting Canadian Knitwear Designers - Part 2

At Joeriaknits, we are dedicated to supporting Canadian knitters and knitwear designers in their craft by providing high-quality tools and supplies. One of the most rewarding aspects of knitting and crochet, is discovering a community of like-minded people who generously share their patterns and expertise.

The following Canadian knitwear designers and bloggers create knitting patterns, hand dye custom spun yarns, and teach knitting techniques for the skilled knitter and beginners alike.

I do not have any affiliation with these talented ladies, and I am not compensated for listing their links in my post.

Tanis Lavallee, is a knitwear designer and yarn dyer based in Montreal, Quebec and runs her family business with her husband Chris.  Tanis developed her own line of custom spun, eco-friendly, organic, washable wool yarns called TFA Pure Wash. You can also find them on YouTube.

Tin Can Knits is the collaboration of two knitwear designers; Alexa Ludeman and Emily Wessel  based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their blog includes excellent knitting tutorials that are clearly written and easy to follow, with helpful photos and diagrams. They also offer free knitting patterns and tutorials to help beginners.
